Causes of bearing heating and countermeasures:
(1) If the bearing of the motor in operation has been damaged, it may cause the motor bearing to overheat. The ball of the bearing or the bearing bush of the ball bearing should be checked for damage, and if it is damaged, it should be repaired or replaced.
(2) When changing the grease, if the impurities of hard particles are mixed or the bearing is not cleaned cleanly, it will increase the bearing wear and overheat, and may even damage the bearing. After cleaning the bearing and bearing end cover, replace the grease.
(3) Oil shortage in the bearing chamber. Motor bearings run for a long time without oil, friction losses increase, and the bearings overheat. Regular maintenance, to avoid the lack of oil running motor bearings.
(4) The grease grade is incorrect. Replace the correct type of grease as soon as possible. Generally, No. 3 lithium base grease or No. 3 compound calcium base grease should be selected.
(5) Too much grease is blocked in the rolling bearing, and excess grease in the rolling bearing should be removed.
(6) The grease has impurities, too dirty, too thick or the oil ring is stuck. The grease should be replaced, and the cause of the jamming should be identified for repair. If the oil viscosity is too high, the grease should be replaced.
(7) The fit of the bearing and the shaft, the bearing and the end cover is too loose or too tight, too tight will deform the bearing, and too loose will easily lead to "running sleeve". When the bearing and shaft are too loose, the journal can be painted with metal paint or the end cover can be set. If it is too tight, it should be reprocessed.
(8) The belt is too tight, too loose, the coupling assembly is poor, or the center of the motor and the mechanical shaft being dragged is not on the same straight line, which causes the bearing load to increase and generate heat. Adjust the belt tightness; correct the coupling.
(9) The wrong bearing type was changed during maintenance, and the correct bearing type should be replaced as soon as possible.
(10) The bearing quality is poor, for example, some steel balls are not round, the inner and outer rings of the bearing are corroded, etc., and the bearing should be adjusted or replaced.
